The
"Red Sox Tradition" may be as old as the Chapter
itself. No one knows why or when the tradition was started,
but it is known to have been in existence continuously since
the 1920's. A candidate for initiation into Albert Pike Chapter
No. 58 should wear red socks for his initiation into the Order
of DeMolay. It is the duty of each member of the Chapter to
inform a petitioner for the Order of DeMolay to wear red socks
to the initiation. This is the oldest of traditions in Albert
Pike Chapter No. 58. Do your part as a member of the Chapter
to keep this tradition alive.
