MASONIC COLLECTIONS

This
room, located at the far right of the building as you enter the Cathedral,
was originally used as the Mens' Lounge, a place where members or candidates
could gather before and during degrees to socialize and relax. Today, it houses
a collection of Masonic and historical memorabilia that has been donated to
the Scottish Rite Library & Museum by various benefactors.
Found
throughout the room are several display cases containing various Masonic aprons,
coins, headgear, jewels, medallions, sculptures and other artwork. There are
also several photos documenting the construction of the Cathedral, a collection
of clown memorabilia and a sculpted bust of Judge William Seat Fly, 33°.
